American female rapper, Mariahlynn Araujo who stated categorically that Shatta Wale is

second to none when making the list of Ghanaian artistes after announcing a collaboration

with him has descended heavily on Ghanaian media stations and personalities who have

downplayed Shatta Wale’s Grammy nomination.

The rapper responding to Yvonne Nelson’s earlier tweet about how Ghana entertainment

industry doesn’t support their own in regards to discrediting Shatta’s Grammy nomination

wrote on Twitter, describing those media people as dumb.

MariahLynn who is a member of Shatta Movement quizzed why anyone on earth would want to downplay Shatta Wale’s contribution to the “Lion King; the Gift” album which has been

nominated for the 62nd Grammys.

“Wait wth did I miss? Who is trying to discredit the king & are they dumb? #Shattamvmtforlife,” MariahLynn’s tweet read.
